My Higher Power

It is reasonable to assume that anyone living in the USA has some kind of knowledge of God, Some choose to venture into a relationship with our Father. We are told over and over again how important our spiritual life is. The one thing that should convince us is this. The fact is that those who find happiness in their sober life are those who move from being self centered, to other oriented living. As far as I know this is not learned behavior at it's root. We just don't have hearts that beat for other unless something happens to us.

Man's heart is the seat of his emotions, it is his this is who I really am spot. Fresh out of the box man comes with a default setting, self. One must experience a sp1 or some other upgrade to move his center. (BTW sp1 is a service pack for windows OS.) It takes an outside influence to change our hearts. but once our heart is changed we are on our way.

Think or contemplate this. A good way to judge our spiritual growth might be, the extent to which I help or serve others is related to where I am with my Higher Power. if I find my wanter wanting to bless others and put them ahead of myself, that must be worth a couple of brownie points! You know what I mean?
